Run your first AI pilot in 30 days
Plan a measured AI pilot with a free editable workbook. Set a baseline, track checking time and quality, then decide whether to continue, change or stop.
Operations and IT leads with a chosen task and a team ready to test it.
- Define a fair test.Set the baseline, scope, owner and quality threshold before starting.
- Count the checking time.Track corrections and review effort as well as generation speed.
- Make a decision.Finish with evidence and a next step, rather than a pilot that never ends.
The free 30-day AI pilot planner helps you test one workflow with a clear baseline, quality checks and a decision date. Use it when you have a chosen task and want evidence before extending the work.
Give the pilot a job and an end date
A useful pilot answers a specific question. Can a particular team complete a defined task with acceptable quality, sensible checking effort and appropriate information handling?
The workbook keeps the test small. It asks you to agree the owner, reviewer, source information and fallback process before collecting results. If you haven’t selected a task yet, start with the AI Opportunity Finder.
Four stages you can follow
- Prepare the test. Define scope, approvals, quality thresholds and stop conditions during the first week.
- Record representative examples of the current process, including review and correction time.
- Test comparable work during weeks two and three. Record failures and rework alongside successful results.
- Review the evidence during the final week and document a continue, change or stop decision.
Count the work that usually disappears from the demo
Generating a draft is only part of the process. The results tracker includes checking and correction time so you can compare total effort fairly. It also asks about setup, training and ongoing tool costs.
Time released is not automatically a cash saving. Record what the team can actually do with that time. Keep quality and control requirements visible, even when a task becomes faster.
